About The Position

We're looking for a detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator to manage and optimize our shipping operations. In this role, you'll oversee all Less-Than-Truckload (LTL) and small parcel shipments, including FedEx and UPS, ensuring efficient and cost-effective transportation.

Requirements

Strong knowledge of LTL freight, FedEx, and UPS shipping systems.
Proficiency in shipping software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Excel.
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent organization skills and attention to details.
High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
At least two years of experience in transportation, logistics, or warehouse shipping operations.
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times.

Nice To Haves

Experience negotiating carrier rates and contracts preferred.

Responsibilities

Manage daily LTL and small parcel (FedEx, UPS) shipping operations.
Optimize freight consolidation and packaging to maximize space utilization and reduce shipping costs.
Negotiate rates and service agreements with LTL carriers and parcel providers.
Analyze shipping data and performance metrics to identify cost-saving opportunities.
Ensure compliance with carrier requirements, shipping regulations, and company policies.
Monitor carrier performance, service levels, and on-time delivery metrics.
Resolve shipment issues, including delays, damages, and billing discrepancies.
Collaborate with Warehouse, Sales, Customer Service, and Purchasing to coordinate outbound shipments efficiently.
Implement continuous improvement initiatives to streamline shipping processes.
Maintain accurate shipping records and prepare transportation cost reports.
Follow all safety protocols and ensure a clean, organized work environment.
Complete all other responsibilities and assignments as required to successfully achieve the goals and objectives of this position.
