About The Position

DSV, founded in 1976, is the world's 3rd largest supplier of global solutions within transport and logistics, operating in over 80 countries. They add value to customers' entire supply chain by transporting, storing, packaging, re-packaging, processing, and clearing all types of goods. As a Logistics Coordinator at DSV, specifically within the Air & Sea division, you will be responsible for coordinating and managing the movement of goods, materials, and products from suppliers to customers. This role involves close collaboration with various internal departments to ensure timely and budget-compliant shipments that meet customer specifications. Key aspects of the role include tracking shipments, managing inventory levels, and resolving any issues that may arise during the shipping process.

Requirements

• Fluency in English is required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, is required.

Nice To Haves

• A bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field is preferred but not required.
• At least 2 years of experience in logistics or supply chain management is preferred.
• Experience working in a transportation or logistics company is a plus.
• Experience using transportation management software is a plus
• Fluency in additional languages is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage the movement of goods from suppliers to customers
• Communicate with customers, suppliers, and internal departments to ensure shipments are delivered on time and according to customer specifications
• Prepare shipping documents, including bills of lading and customs documentation
• Track shipments and manage inventory levels
• Resolve any issues that arise during the shipping process, including delays, damages, and lost shipments
• Maintain accurate records of all shipping transactions
• Monitor transportation costs and work to minimize expenses
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments
