Our work depends on a Logistics Analyst Principal joining our team and supporting logistics and acquisition tasks to ensure our Army’s products are ready to be fielded following DoD requirements and able to meet the acquisition timeline to make is way to the Warfighter. Work with Project/Product Managers, Logistics Managers, other Engineers, and End-Users to provide Life Cycle support for multiple medical and non-medical products, programs, and systems. Coordinate with a large network of matrixed organizations within the DoD, US Army, and other Federal agencies to ensure effective, efficient, and timely completion of the medical product development and fielding mission. Apply life cycle logistics management concepts and methodology to assigned projects and demonstrate a thorough working knowledge of Integrated Product Support (IPS), DoD requirements determination, program planning, budget and execution, wholesale supply system, cataloging, and contract administration/procurement. Provide project management directly to the project manager coordinating and consolidating all acquisition activities in the PMO acquisition dashboard. Track PMO Integrated Product Team (IPT) and Working Group (WG) reporting meetings to include scheduling meetings; coordinating with participants; preparing agendas, related documentation, and meeting minutes; and tracking action items. Coordinate and disperse Taskers to appropriate team members. Validating information and compiling responses to ensure full response has been gathered for review and submission approval of management. Maintain current knowledge of relevant technology and industry developments. Prepare acquisition documentation IAW applicable DoD 5000 series regulations to ensure successful decision reviews such as Integrated Program Summaries, Test and Evaluation Master Plans (TEMPs), Life Cycle Support Plans (LCSPs), and acquisition milestone documentation. Prepare and review briefings, summaries, information papers, technical reports, acquisition documentation, and other correspondence. Manage and track numerous, diverse, simultaneous efforts and have the ability to effectively prioritize requirements for multiple on-going projects in support of project team. Participate in special projects as required. WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in a technical, logistics, biomedical, or related field or the equivalent combination of education, professional training, or work experience.
  • Required Experience: 8+ years of related experience.
  • Required Technical Skills: Experience with DoD 5000 Acquisition Process/Phases including acquisition documentation
  • Security Clearance Level: NA – T1 Public Trust
  • Required Skills and Abilities: Exceptional communication, writing, and project management skills for developing documentation and collaborating with diverse teams. Adept at cross-functional teamwork and engaging multiple stakeholders. Ability to execute using Microsoft Office Suite, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel, as well as Microsoft Outlook.

  • Preferred Technical Skills: Knowledge of military/Army acquisition/ procurement/fielding (preferably with medical devices/systems or Army Soldier Support programs)
