Requirements

  • 1–3 years of experience in logistics, shipping/receiving, supply chain coordination, or administrative support
  • Strong data entry skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail, have basic computer skills and the ability to use standard office equipment
  • Ability to communicate professionally with visitors, drivers, and other teammates
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts is required
  • The successful candidate must be able to work independently while also functioning effectively as part of a team
  • Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.

Nice To Haves

  • Proficient with Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, Outlook), ERP systems, and TMS systems
  • Experience in a manufacturing, warehouse, or distribution environment
