About The Position

The Logistics Administrative Assistant is directly responsible for performing a variety of duties in assisting the Office Manager to accomplish the goals of the office, including ensuring office work is performed to procedures and quality standards.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and the use of the internet.
  • Developed analytical and problem solving abilities.
  • Ability to read, write and interpret reports and business correspondence for a diverse audience.
  • Ability to organize work, engage in a variety of tasks simultaneously and consistently meet deadlines.
  • High degree of initiative and independent judgment.
  • Ability to express self effectively and concisely, both verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to demonstrate a high attention to detail and good follow-up skills.
  • Self-motivated, proactive and solution focused.
  • Ability to tactfully and effectively deal with public and staff in a personable and professional manner.
  • Maintains a high level of energy and a consistent positive attitude.
  • Ability to work alongside other employees within all levels of the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Accurately and efficiently prepares reports, memos, and letters using word processing and spreadsheet software, as assigned by the Office Manager.
  • Create statistical tools using spreadsheets. Streamline data entry by combining spreadsheets.
  • Fill and retrieve corporate documents, records, and reports.
  • Greet visitors and receive phone calls. Determine whether visitors/callers should be given access to specific individuals.
  • Perform general office duties such maintaining inventories of office supplies and general organization of supplies and work area.
  • Tracks inventory of finished goods in warehouse.
  • Maintains detailed records and prepares communications and reports as needed.
  • Interacts professionally on a regular basis with staff, vendors and the general public.
  • Assumes additional responsibilities and performs special projects as needed or directed.
