About The Position

Full-time Logistician to assist in defining the Integrated Combat System (ICS) supportability requirements, evaluate program documentation for logistics impacts, coordinate logistic tasks, review and track logistics products, and participate in working groups and integrated product teams. The Contractor will require experience in developing Integrated Master Schedules (IMS) and Work Breakdown Structures (WBS), along with project management skills. Collaborate with In-Service Engineering Agent (ISEA) personnel at Naval Surface Warfare Center, Port Hueneme Division (NSWC PHD) personnel to support the ICS construct of continuous development and deployment and support the development of logistics products for ILS Certifications. This includes proficiency in DoD 5000.02 Adaptive Acquisition Framework and DoD 5000.91 Product Support Management Organization and project management. Build and present briefs, support ongoing development of logistics products, and enhance product support strategy in alignment with IWS X goals and objectives. Review all ICS document changes, support the ICS provisioning team by reviewing ICAPS packages and SGAPL inputs, and provide inputs to the ICS Configuration Management (CM) Team. Demonstrate innovative problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze and provide data-driven recommendations, ensuring continuous improvement of logistics processes and products in alignment with government requirements. Integrated Combat System (ICS) is a new combat system that NSWC PHD has been named the ISEA for The ICS is in its infancy and is preparing to be installed on CVN 72 starting in FY26. The logistics documentation is not completed and additional support is required to support the ILS strategy and product support to meet ILS certification schedules. The ICS vision of continuous development and deployment will change how PHD supports the Fleet. These changes will have an impact on the products PHD produces and additional contract support is needed to meet the tight schedules of the program.

Requirements

  • Experience in developing Integrated Master Schedules (IMS) and Work Breakdown Structures (WBS)
  • Project management skills
  • Associate’s Degree and 4 - 6 years of logistics / Data package building experience or no degree and 6 -8years of experience
  • Proficiency in DoD 5000.02 Adaptive Acquisition Framework and DoD 5000.91 Product Support Management Organization and project management
  • Must have strong computer skills (Word, Excel, Adobe Acrobat)
  • Have a valid driver’s license with own transportation
  • Must be able to receive and maintain a security clearance
  • Must be punctual, attention to detail, and take good notes
  • Must be able to work under minimal supervision, perform and complete tasks with limited guidance
  • Able to follow company policies and procedures
  • Able to write, speak and understand English and able to write clear, detailed reports

  • Navy Logistics School and previous NAVSEA CM/Logistics experience
