Requirements

Active Secret security clearance
High School diploma, vocational school diploma, or GED certificate
Minimum of 5 years of full-time professional experience in configuration management, with demonstrated expertise in:
Chairing a Configuration Control Board (CCB) or equivalent decision-making body.
Managing configurations for computer-based systems, network devices, software applications, security documentation, and system security patches.
Providing comprehensive change management and product configuration guidance in support of DoD or Navy programs.

Responsibilities

Lead and facilitate Configuration Control Boards (CCBs) or similar governance bodies to review, approve, and document configuration changes.
Implement and enforce configuration management processes for computer-based systems, software, network devices, and documentation in compliance with DoD and Navy standards.
Maintain comprehensive oversight of system configurations, including security baselines, software patching, and documentation control.
Support change management initiatives by ensuring all changes are properly evaluated, coordinated, and communicated to stakeholders.
Ensure proper version control and traceability of changes to all configuration items (CIs).
Collaborate with system engineers, cybersecurity personnel, and program managers to maintain accurate and updated system configurations throughout the system lifecycle.
Track configuration status and provide reports, audits, and updates as required for compliance and mission assurance.
