Join us and do things you never dreamed possible. What you will be doing: Safely operate locomotives and trains inside a customer facility. Make-up and break-up of unit trains. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Paperwork preparation associated with the movement of railcars. Actively participate in safety programs, including involvement in routine safety meetings. Understand and adhere to rail rules as prescribed by Savage, our customer, and the railroad. A desire to learn the skills necessary to do the job safely. Will have daily contact with fellow team members and Savage leadership. Will have frequent contact with customers, railroad personnel, and members of the regional and unit leadership team. Assisting with minor facility maintenance as necessary.
