About The Position

Under general supervision, maintain, repair, and install a variety of mechanical and electrical locking devices and systems. Re-key and master key a variety of locking devices and systems. Cut keys, maintain records, and perform related work as required.

Requirements

• High School Diploma, GED or other equivalent.
• Four (4) years of experience in the locksmith trade.
• Valid Driver's License.
• Must be able to demonstrate proficiency in the following areas:
• Knowledge of the methods, materials, tools, and equipment used in the locksmith trade.
• Knowledge of the operation, maintenance, and repair of a variety of mechanical and electrical locking devices and systems.
• Ability to re-key and master key a variety of locking devices and systems.
• Ability to cut keys.
• Ability to maintain records.
• Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions.
• Ability to work independently.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others.
