About The Position

U.S. Facilities, Inc., a consolidated facility management and maintenance service, is seeking a Locksmith/Carpenter. The position will be responsible for the installation, operation, replacement, repair and maintenance of standard and maximum-security locking systems including hardware and correctional locks. Will maintain and operate the Lock Shop; maintain and use a key making machine, software, key blanks, key cylinders and miscellaneous parts; Receives and responds to service calls; takes immediate action to resolve emergency situations or system breakdowns; oversees routine and preventive maintenance programs; Will work in cooperation with other trades, maintenance staff and or contractors, as assigned. Must follow safety and security procedures. PPE provided. May be assigned additional duties.

Requirements

High school graduate, GED or equivalent years of experience
Completion of training as a Locksmith
Familiarity with building systems and knowledge of building codes and regulations
Must have the ability to make keys and maintain software systems
Valid vehicle operator’s license
Must pass a criminal background check and drug screen upon hire
