Requirements

• High School Diploma
• Trade or vocational in locksmith
• 3 years public, commercial, or industrial locksmith
• Basic computer skills
• Knowledge of office equipment (fax/copier)
• Proficient computer skills (word processing, spreadsheets, database)
• Data entry
• Mathematical skills

Responsibilities

• Provides total locksmith services for all facilities.40%
• Performs preventive maintenance on assigned equipment and documents records appropriately. 10%
• Prepares signs for meetings and special events.10%
• Maintains keys for highly secured areas such as Pharmacy, Risk Management, etc.10%
• Audits keys for specific areas as needed.10%
• Maintains department policies and procedures, performing tests to comply with JCAHO, DHEC, and other codes/standards.10%
• Keeps work area clean and safe ensuring proper care and use of equipment and supplies. Is available for call-back in emergency situations. Works from blueprints & drawings. 10%
