About The Position

Under the direction of the Facilities Shift Supervisor, the incumbent functions as a working leader to coordinate the tasks, activities, supplies and equipment of locksmiths. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Exhibit conduct in accordance with all Gaming Commission Regulations and Seminole Tribe of Florida departmental policies and procedures. Must adhere to Seminole Tribe's Policies and Procedures. Installs, repairs, rebuilds and services mechanical, electrical or computerized locking devices. Disassembles locks and repairs or replaces worn tumblers, springs and other parts. Performs required and preventive maintenance on card "swipe" locks. Inserts new or repaired tumblers into lock to change combination. Cuts new or duplicate keys and key cards; generates master for key cards. Moves lockpick in cylinder to open door locks without keys; opens safe locks by drilling. Prepares work schedule and payroll; processes Leave requests; maintains and submits records as appropriate. Maintains records and logs of Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino’s locks and corresponding keys for key control system. Interacts with Tribal Gaming Commission and Security department to ensure integrity of security system. Monitors and maintains inventory of cut keys, blanks and locks; generates requisitions for replenishment as necessary. Promotes positive public/employee relations at all times. Maintains a clean, safe, hazard-free work environment within area of responsibility. Performs all other related and compatible duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or technical certificate required as well as a minimum of three (3) to five (5) years of related experience and 1 year of casino experience or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
