The Lock Desk specialist is responsible for locking in new lock requests and maintaining those locks through closing. Maintenance in extending the lock, updating changes made to the lock, and relocking as needed.
Requirements
- Strong mathematical skills
- Excellent Customer Service skills
- Strong working knowledge of current PPE/LOS
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- High school diploma
- 2+ years of mortgage industry experience and knowledge
Nice To Haves
- BS in Accounting or Finance preferred
Responsibilities
- Responsible for locking a high volume of loans internally and with investors
- Audit all parameters that impact pricing on locked loans
- Respond to questions from mortgage originators as well as making changes on locked loans
- Manage the locked pipeline
- Assist Mortgage Consultants and Processors with product and pricing question
