About The Position

Local Process Architect’s role is responsible for the end‑to‑end factory process architecture and governance so that manufacturing processes are standardized, connected, compliant, and continuously improved. They Lead cross‑functional alignment (process, people, technology) and manage the change lifecycle—from mapping and requirements to decision, implementation oversight, and continuous improvement—so that the factory scales reliably and efficiently.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or technical field or the equivalent level of experience
  • Production systems expertise

  • Communicate clearly and effectively at engineering and shop floor level
  • Knowledge and experience relating to process/system requirements
  • Strong prioritization and time leadership skills
  • Experience coordinating or serving on multi-team projects, and working in multi-functional teams or environments
  • Experience in business and solution development, project/program management and project delivery
  • Ability to interact with different levels within the organization
  • Excellent verbal, written communication, and presentation skills

Responsibilities

  • Owns process architecture/design, E2E handshakes, governance, and alignment to strategy.
  • Build and maintain one authoritative set of E2E process documents that are complete, accurate, version controlled, and easy to use; include value stream maps where appropriate.
  • Define boundaries between process maps, process descriptions and work instructions (Processes owned/approved by process owners).
  • Lead the process change lifecycle: initiation & alignment, assessment & planning, design & development, implementation decision, implementation oversight, documentation & reporting, governance & continuous improvement.
  • Convene and contribute to GPA/LPA syncs, GPA reference groups, LPA & Business syncs, and the Process Architects Community of Practice for alignment, knowledge sharing, and portfolio transparency.
  • Use data driven decision making to prioritize improvements and ensure changes are made to last; uphold safety, environmental, and quality requirements without deviation.
  • Conduct post implementation reviews; capture lessons learned and feed them into standards and the process library.
  • Align local process designs with global capabilities and releases (e.g., IBP, MES, WCS, etc); ensure compliance and manage exemptions where site realities require.
  • Create a positive and engaging culture within the team
  • Promote, understand, and strictly adhere to all safety, environmental, and quality guidelines without deviation.
  • Support Enterprise Security for OT-related issues.
  • Act as the local interface for Product Security (SRM) related to OT controls.

  • Short-Term Variable Compensation Plan : Your pay also includes the opportunity for an annual bonus. Actual bonus payouts are based on performance of the business against the unit’s objectives, individual performance, and the individual bonus target. Certain eligibility and pro-ration rules apply.

  • The Ericsson US 401(k) Plan offers an automatic 3% company contribution and Ericsson match $1 for every $1 you put into the 401(k) Plan on the first 3% of your eligible pay, plus 50 cents on every $1 on the next 2% of eligible pay. When you contribute at least 5% of eligible pay, you are receiving Ericsson’s full matching contributions of 4%. Matching and company automatic contributions stop when your total eligible pay for the year reaches the IRS limits. Employees will also receive company credits in an amount equal to the cost of basic life insurance and basic accidental death and dismemberment coverage, as well as short-term and long-term disability coverage. Employees also have the option to participate in Ericsson’s Stock Purchase Plan.
  • New employees are provided a minimum of 15 days of accrued vacation, up to 3 personal days per year, 11 annual holidays, 8 hours of volunteer time, and 80 hours of sick time annually. Please note paid time off is pro-rated based on the employee’s start date. Furthermore, Ericsson provides up to 16 weeks of paid maternity leave and 6 weeks of parental or adoption leave at 100% of pay.
