STUDENT-WICB Local Music Director ('26-'27)
About The Position
WICB is looking for a Local Music Director for the 2026-2027 academic year. Ithaca College’s student employment program offers meaningful experiential learning opportunities that develop transferable skills sought by employers across various industries. These positions allow students to apply classroom knowledge in real-world professional settings, fostering both personal and professional growth. Requirements
- is organized and detail-oriented
- is a strong communicator both in-person and via email
- has been a member of WICB for at least one semester
- is a collaborative team player
Responsibilities
- coordinate with local and Western NY artists
- conduct interviews and host a weekly radio show (Homebrew)
- catalog our local music library (including fielding new music submissions)
- attend weekly WICB Executive Staff meetings and General Staff meetings (Wednesdays at 6:30-7 p.m.)
