STUDENT-WICB Local Music Director ('26-'27)
About The Position
WICB is seeking a Local Music Director for the 2026-2027 academic year. This student role involves coordinating with local and Western NY artists, conducting interviews, and hosting a weekly radio show called Homebrew. The director will also be responsible for cataloging the local music library and managing new music submissions. The ideal candidate will be organized, detail-oriented, and possess strong communication skills. They must also be a collaborative team player and able to attend weekly WICB Executive Staff and General Staff meetings. Applicants are required to include a cover letter explaining their suitability for the role and what they can contribute to the Station for Innovation.
Requirements

- Has been a member of WICB for at least one semester

Responsibilities
- Coordinate with local and Western NY artists

- Attend General Staff meetings (Wednesdays at 6:30-7 p.m.)
