Requirements

  • No educational pre-requisite.
  • 1 year customer service experience preferred.
  • This position requires strong interpersonal skills, enthusiasm for The Villages, and The Villages Health.
  • A desire to serve in a customer support role and the ability to problem solve to handle a variety of variables.
  • Must be able to communicate with patients and visitors confidently and effectively.
  • Prior customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Greet all visitors to The Villages Health Care Centers.
  • Utilize customer service skills to determine the needs of the visitor to identify the appropriate next step(s).
  • Escort or direct patients to proper location in Care Center.
  • Maintain front porch and living room, keep clean, free of debris, and ensure all TV’s/lights are functioning.
  • Watch parking lot for patients needing assistance.
  • Understand The Villages Health and the offerings of The Villages Health, such as a health classes and services offered.
  • Partner with New Patient Specialists for new patient needs and inquiries.
  • Check in various appointments, including Lab, MA, Classes, etc.
  • Monitor living room and surrounding areas.
  • Check in with patients that have been waiting.
  • Accept paperwork and route or document in EHR appropriately (i.e.: New Patient packet, Annual HIPAA, etc.)
  • Monitor Vendors and Visitors entering or leaving facility.
  • Maintain Visitor Log.
  • Deliver lab samples to lab station, as requested.
  • Maintain kitchen cleanliness.
  • Monitor patient facing restrooms, clean and wipe down as needed.
  • Lock/unlock doors at beginning and end of shift, as schedule permits.
  • Other duties as assigned.
