About The Position

The Loan Support Specialist will serve as a flexible resource providing essential administrative and operational support to the Lending team, including Loan Officers, Commercial Relationship Managers, and Loan Assistants. This role helps ensure the smooth processing of loan transactions and supports the lending team process through research and coordination. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

Requirements

  • Excellent communication verbally/written and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities, multi-tasking and attention to detail.
  • Prior experience in banking, lending operations, or administrative support preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Previous experience in banking or financial services is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of financial products and services for consumers.

Responsibilities

  • Communicate effectively with internal departments and external vendors to ensure seamless loan processing.
  • Resolve loan related incoming customer inquiry calls and follow up with customers as needed.
  • Perform draw requests, loan related maintenance forms, outgoing wire requests, work loan reports.
  • Prepare and organize loan files for loan document preparation and closings
  • Coordinate with document preparation and loan ops teams/ to ensure timely and accurate loan documentation is provided.
  • Provide administrative support to Loan Officers, Loan Assistants, and Commercial Relationship Managers as needed.
  • Maintain confidentiality and always protect customer financial information.
  • Performs other duties as assigned by management.
