About The Position

The Loan Servicing Supervisor oversees all loan servicing activities for TRID, HELOC, Consumer, Commercial, and FNMA loans. This role involves supervising servicing staff across all product lines and ensuring accurate payment processing, loan maintenance, renewals, and modifications. The Loan Servicing Supervisor provides technical support to staff and lenders, and serves as a key operational backup to the Loan Operations Manager.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Minimum of 3 – 5 years of loan servicing or loan operations experience, including experience with multiple loan types
  • Strong knowledge of loan servicing functions, including payment posting, maintenance, renewals, and modifications
  • Working knowledge of applicable banking regulations and compliance requirements
  • Experience with loan servicing systems required
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • High attention to detail with a strong commitment to accuracy and service excellence

Responsibilities

  • Supervise loan servicing staff
  • Serve as a backup to the Loan Operations Manager and assist with managerial duties as needed
  • Monitor workflow, staffing needs, and processing timelines to maintain service standards
  • Perform and oversee loan maintenance, including account updates and system corrections
  • Oversee correction and proper posting of loan payments, including researching and resolving discrepancies
  • Provide technical assistance and guidance to lenders, processors, and frontline staff to ensure proper posting of transactions
  • Verify loan setup documentation and system input to ensure loans are booked and maintained correctly within the loan system
  • Serve as a subject-matter expert for loan servicing procedures and system functionality
  • Field questions from servicing staff, lenders, and frontline personnel regarding loan accounts, documentation, and servicing processes
  • Review and prioritize loan servicing requests to ensure timely and accurate completion
  • Stay current on regulatory changes and servicing requirements impacting loan operations
  • Assist with training, coaching, workflow management, and performance support for servicing staff
  • Promote the bank’s products and services in a professional and customer-focused manner
  • Participate in bank-sponsored events, community activities, and volunteer opportunities as they arise
  • Support departmental initiatives, process improvements, and special projects
  • Perform other duties as assigned
