About The Position

The person in this position will be responsible for providing service and support for consumer loans, including employee support, processing payoffs, servicing backend products, insurance, and title work. Additional responsibilities may include providing Front Desk support at our West Jordan Financial Center location (FC1). This is accomplished primarily through giving superior support to our member facing teams.

Requirements

  • One to two years experience working with auto Insurance, dealerships, lending, titles, or Credit Union experience preferred.
  • One to two years experience working in a customer service/ support role.
  • Must have High School diploma or equivalent G.E.D.
  • Proficient with standard office business machinery and software.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Word/Excel/Outlook.

Responsibilities

  • Provide front desk support including checking in and out vendors/visitors, receiving deliveries, communicating with facilities team to address building and property needs, providing temporary employee badges, etc.
  • Assist with phone inquiries and emails from members, branches, internal departments, auto dealers, other financial institutions, and DMVs.
  • Process and post daily checks received for collateralized loan payoffs.
  • Process and post Indirect chargeback checks received.
  • Prepare lien releases, assist with out-of-state title request, and prepare out-of-country authorization requests.
  • Review daily payoffs, releases, and mail title out to payees.
  • Notate and file incoming perfected paper titles.
  • Quote lease payoffs to front line staff.
  • Work with insurance companies, dealerships, members, and internal departments to assist with back-end product cancellations.
  • Update and sign letter of guarantee requests, along with filing of GAP insurance for collateral that has been deemed a total loss.
  • Process vehicle impound notifications and maintain loan notes.
  • Contact members through email and phone calls to collect any needed title documentation.
  • Build good relationships with credit union members, branches, departments, auto dealers, DMVs and Tax Commissions.
  • Other duties assigned.
  • Understand the Bank Secrecy Act and how it is applied.
