About the Role: The Loan Servicing Intern works closely with the Loan Servicing Specialists who play a pivotal role in the booking and maintenance of all loans at BankSouth and ensures that all loan files are set up properly in our respective systems. The Loan Servicing Department services all loans in the bank’s portfolio consisting of a variety of consumer loan and commercial loan products, including but not limited to HELOC’s, mortgages, construction loans, commercial real estate investment properties and builder loans (construction).
Requirements
- Intermediate computer skills.
- A working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word.
- The ability to navigate and manipulate spreadsheets and/or create and manipulate Word documents.
- Requires attention to detail and basic math skills.
