Requirements

  • Experience in loan servicing or a related financial services role.
  • Basic knowledge of mortgage products, documentation, and lending systems.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and internal systems.
  • Demonstrated competencies in teamwork, member/customer focus, interpersonal skills, accountability, flexibility, self-starting, and continuous learning.

Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end commercial real estate loan servicing, including booking, funding, insurance/tax tracking, UCC tracking, construction advances, payment posting, and file maintenance.
  • Oversee residential mortgage servicing functions such as PMI administration, escrow and tax tracking, and monitoring servicing reports.
  • Review and analyze operational reports to ensure accuracy, compliance, and timely follow-up.
  • Perform secondary reviews and sign-offs on key servicing processes, including loan adjustments, modifications, and quality-control validations.
  • Verify new accounts (deposits, HELOCs, mortgages) for accuracy and compliance.
  • Conduct post-closing mortgage reviews, track missing documents, and resolve discrepancies promptly.
  • Support internal audits, investor audits (Freddie Mac), and exam readiness efforts.
  • Participate in process improvements, system testing, and compliance initiatives.
  • Stay current on regulatory changes and industry best practices to proactively identify risks and recommend enhancements.
