About The Position

Position Overview: This is an entry-level position that includes the receipt, review, and upload of all electronic documents related to the mortgage loan process to the Credit Union’s mortgage loan origination system, as well as facilitating MLO understanding of the electronic signature and documentation process. In this position, one is tasked with ensuring a smooth member experience and efficient gathering of vital information during the mortgage loan process.3

Requirements

  • HS Diploma or GED
  • 0-2 years relevant experience
  • Able to key data accurately and efficiently

Nice To Haves

  • Associate or 2-year degree
  • Proficiency with MS Office

Responsibilities

  • (10 %) Upload eSigned member documents and completed verifications into the appropriate loan imaging system
  • (10 %) Send email verification requests to members or employers as needed
  • (30 %) Key requests for verification of employment and/or income, tax transcripts or DocuSigned forms into third-party vendor sites.
  • (20 %) Return completed requests to lender or processor and act as a liaison with verifier to communicate additional information
  • (10 %) Advise requesting processors on best practices for navigating income verification.
  • (10 %) Answer in-bound and departmental phone calls
  • (10%) Maintain department tracking reports
