About The Position

Put your experience as a Loan Officer to work as our new Loan Operations Specialist. The Loan Operations Specialist supports the Lending Department by performing a variety of administrative and clerical tasks to ensure efficient processing, servicing, and maintenance of loan documentation and records. This role plays a vital part in maintaining compliance with internal policies and external regulations, while delivering excellent member service. The initial primary function will be funding Indirect Lending (IDL). Requirements

  • Prior consumer lending experience (two years or more)
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Inter-personal skills

Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to loan officers and underwriters, including document imaging, data entry and regular communication by telephone and email.
  • Respond to internal and external inquiries in a timely manner, providing status updates and assisting with loan related questions and servicing.
  • Auditing loan files for accuracy, completeness, and compliance prior to releasing loan proceeds via wire to dealers for indirect loans. Maintain loan documentation in accordance with credit union policy and regulatory requirements.
  • Assist in post-closing functions, including loan certification (if applicable), collateral filing, lien releases, and audits. Prepare and send the required disclosures and adverse action notifications.
  • Support monthly reporting and departmental recordkeeping as assigned, including but not limited to Titles for indirect loans, Flex Loan certification, Minute Money, and other reports as assigned.
  • Provide friendly, professional, and accurate service to members, staff, and indirect partners.Maintain confidentiality and security of all member information.
