About The Position

The Loan Officer Assistant (LOA) will be organized with a strong attention to detail. During the first 6 months of employment, the LOA will train to become a Licensed Mortgage Loan Officer, taking courses and the exam to transition to a MLO role.

Requirements

  • Must have exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Must be dependable with meeting deadlines and managing time
  • Have an ability to work independently on multiple files simultaneously
  • Possess strong oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Assist Loan Officer in general administrative and clerical duties
  • Obtain loan documentation once loan application is received and ensure all documentation is completed accurately for Loan Officer to proceed to the next phase of processing
  • Schedule appointments, calls, etc. for the Loan Officer and clients
  • Assist with branch marketing efforts to generate leads
  • Complete MLO training courses and exam.
  • Complete other duties as assigned.
