About The Position

The Home Loan Specialist is an entry‑level role supporting multiple business channels within the mortgage organization. This position plays a key role in ensuring efficient loan processing activities while delivering high‑quality service to internal partners and customers. The ideal candidate is detail‑oriented, organized, and eager to build a career in the mortgage and financial services industry.

Requirements

• Mortgage industry or mortgage operations knowledge
• Banking or financial services experience
• Customer service orientation
• Attention to detail and time management
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, production‑driven environment

Responsibilities

• Perform routine data entry and data validation tasks with accuracy and attention to detail
• Initiate and track third‑party orders, including title, appraisal, hazard insurance, flood certifications, and credit reports
• Review and validate loan documentation to ensure completeness and compliance
• Respond to routine inbound and outbound communications via phone, email, and/or chat
• Monitor assigned work queues and escalate or intervene as necessary to meet service level expectations
• Support additional operational tasks as assigned
