About The Position

True Anomaly is seeking a highly accomplished Loads Development Lead to lead the technical execution of a next-generation missile defense program. This is a generational opportunity to architect a solution to some of the most challenging mission sets in missile defense, not to mention aerospace engineering as a whole. You will establish processes and standards for structural and thermal loads development and develop and validate Coupled Loads Analyses (CLA) and derive Mass Acceleration Curves (MAC), decomposing system loads into design criteria and verification requirements. Finally you will collaborate with structures, dynamics, and test engineers to ensure integrity and performance.

Requirements

  • 10+ years full lifecycle experience in loads development and verification for aerospace systems
  • Expertise in CLA, Craig Bampton, load derivation, and structural verification
  • Ability to adjust analysis fidelity to match program maturity and risk posture
  • Proven leadership in design, analysis, and verification on a major aerospace program
  • Ability to scale analytical rigor to match program maturity and risk
  • Ability to lead cross-functional technical teams and coordinate across hardware and software boundaries
  • Demonstrated expertise with SINDA/FLUINT, Thermal Desktop, or equivalent tools
  • Bachelors Degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering or related field. Master's or Ph.D. preferred
  • U.S. Citizen and eligible for DoD Secret

  • Advanced degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, or Systems Engineering
  • Experience with missile defense or space vehicle programs
  • Strong track record leading cross-functional engineering teams and managing design-to-delivery cycles
  • Background in systems engineering or technical program management
  • TS/SCI clearance
