About The Position
2026 Summer School Program K-5 Litcamp Teachers (In Person Program) Dates of Program: July 6, 2026 - July 30, 2026 Days of Program: Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays Hours: 8:00 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. Locations: To Be Determined Staff Needed: 90 General Education 30 Bilingual 5 Physical Education 5 Music 5 Arts 5 Technology Qualifications: Must be a current employee at Paterson Public Schools Individuals employed as Susbstitutes need not apply. Must be working within the appropriate New Jersey Content Area New Jersey Teaching Certification in K-8, Language Arts, Science, Mathematics, or HQT, TOSD, TOH, ESL, Bilingual Endorsement, Physical Education, Music and Art Certification. Experience with Infinite Campus System for attendance reporting Experience with Google Classroom Model a growth mindset about new teaching and learning techniques Experience working with K-5 students Must complete all tasks assigned in a timely manner to run a successful program Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, with students, staff, parents, administrators and community Excellent interpersonal skills, integrity, and good moral character Must be a critical thinker, problem solver and respect others. POSITION PENDING BUDGET APPROVAL AND STUDENT REGISTRATION MUST APPLY ONLINE TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS POSITION Meet such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Superintendent may find appropriate and acceptable. Requirements
