About The Position
2026 Summer School Program K-5 Litcamp Lead Teachers (In Person Program) Dates of Program: July 6, 2026 - July 30, 2026 Days of Program: Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays Hours: 7:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. Locations: To Be Determined Staff Needed: Five (5) Lead Teachers Qualifications: Must be currently employed by Paterson Public Schools Hold a New Jersey Principal or Supervisor Certificate Must be able to work the entire length and all components of the program Understanding of the School's Emergency Procedures Ensure accuracy of students' emergency contacts as provided upon registration Must coordinate the program and activities as requested Must ensure all materials are properly packed and returned to the Division of Academic Services or the designated return location upon program completion Ensure teachers and students adhere to the program as scheduled Must be familiar with the Kronos system and complete compensation forms according to the Kronos system Track and monitor student attendance on a Google Sheet and/or Infinite Campus Communicate with students' families to ensure program participation Monitor the pre and post assessments and provide an analytical statement at the end of the program Experience working with General, Bilingual, Special Education, Elementary and Middle School students Ability to communicate effectivelym both orally and in writing with students, staff, parents, administrators, and community Excellent interpersonal skills, integrity and good moral character Must be a critical thinker, problem solver and have respect for others POSITION PENDING BUDGET APPROVAL AND STUDENT REGISTRATION MUST APPLY ONLINE FTO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS POSITION Meet such alternatives to above qualifications as the Superintendent may find appropriate and acceptable Pending budget availability All postings are open for ten (10) consecutive days following the date posted or until filled Paterson Public Schools is an Equal Opportunity and Affirmative Action Employer committed to building a diverse and inclusive workforce that reflects the community we serve.
