The Line Service Technician provides basic service to the aircraft such as marshaling, towing, fueling, changing lavatory fluids, replenishing ice, water, and papers. The Line Service Technician must have a professional demeanor and excellent communication skills interacting with customers, receiving instructions, confirming details, assisting with baggage, etc. Essential Job Functions: Marshaling aircraft through arrivals and departures, moving aircraft Providing basic service for aircraft, e.g., fuel, oil, lavatory, water, etc. Driving vehicles in areas congested with moving and stationary aircraft, vehicles, and equipment Preparing refuelers for morning/afternoon shifts by topping off Jet A, diesel, prist, and DEF tanks Receiving and maintaining Jet A fuel loads Greeting pilots, passengers, and crew members Assist with customer service duties as needed Ensure hangars, tarmac, and client areas are kept clean and orderly Ensuring a safe environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations Other duties as reasonably assigned by the Line Service leadership team Work Environment The employee will work outdoors on an airport ramp, inside aircraft hangars, and occasionally inside and around the office buildings. Employees will need to lift baggage and occasionally utilize heavy equipment. Employees will experience various degrees of aircraft noise and weather conditions.
