About your role: You will serve as the Line of Business (LOB) Risk Officer for Merchant Solutions, advising senior business leaders and partnering with control functions to manage and escalate risk. You will conduct forward-looking risk assessments, monitor alignment to enterprise risk priorities, and support business initiatives from a risk perspective. Your work enables informed decision-making and proactive mitigation to protect the business while enabling growth.

Requirements

  • 8+ years in risk management or financial services.
  • Experience leading strategic risk initiatives.
  • Experience with Excel, SQL, or BI tools.
  • Bachelor's degree or Master's degree in Risk Management, Statistics, Economics, Analytics, Finance, Management, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education, related experience and/or military experience.
  • You must currently possess valid and unrestricted U.S. work authorization to be considered for this role. Individuals with temporary visas including, but not limited to, F-1 (OPT, CPT, STEM), H-1B, H-2, or TN, or any candidate requiring sponsorship, now or in the future, will not be considered for this role.

Nice To Haves

  • 5+ years of experience in an operational or risk management role.
  • Knowledge of merchant acquiring, payment processing, or merchant solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with business leaders to identify, assess, and prioritize risks across the LOB.
  • Drive alignment with the enterprise risk framework.
  • Provide proactive risk consultation on upcoming business initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with policies and risk programs.
  • Lead and conduct risk assessments.
  • Prepare and present risk reporting.
