San Antonio Winery is looking to hire part-time and full-time positions for our upcoming location San Simeon Estates in Paso Robles. We are considering applicants with Sous Chef, Line Cook and Prep, and Kitchen management experience. We are open 7 days a week during the day.
Successful candidates will play a key role in contributing to customer satisfaction in our Bistro and Event Center. Experience in pasta, Grill, Pizzas, Salads, Sandwiches, and Sauces are a plus.

Requirements

• Proven prep/cooking experience is preferred, including experience as a line chef, restaurant cook, sous chef, prep cook.
• Excellent understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment and procedures.
• Accuracy and speed in executing assigned tasks
• Familiar with industry’s best practices
• Bilingual in English is preferred but will consider Spanish Speaking only candidates.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in pasta, Grill, Pizzas, Salads, Sandwiches, and Sauces are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Set up and stocking stations with all necessary supplies
• Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff
• Clean up the station and take care of leftover food
• Stock inventory appropriately
• Ensure that food comes out simultaneously, in high quality, and in a timely fashion
• Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards
• Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers
