About The Position

Cala’s is Hiring a Full-Time Cook to join our team!

Cala’s is a small, comfortable restaurant with a contemporary casual atmosphere and a creative yet approachable menu — from chicken wings and turkey club sandwiches to pan-seared salmon and steak frites.

As a Line Cook at Cala’s, you’ll work alongside a team of dedicated culinary professionals in a fun, safe, and fast-paced environment.

Requirements

• Comfortable working in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
• Solid knowledge of food preparation and cooking techniques, with a willingness to learn new ones
• Ability to execute dishes quickly while upholding consistency, quality, and food safety
• Team player with strong communication skills
• Commitment to maintaining a healthy and safe work environment
• Flexible availability, must be able to work Sundays

Responsibilities

• Prepare and execute dishes according to Cala’s recipes and quality standards
• Work multiple stations, including grill, sauté, and fry, with a focus on consistency and timing
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workspace in compliance with food safety standards
• Assist in prepping ingredients and ensuring stations are fully stocked before and during service
• Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth and timely service
• Adapt to changing priorities in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
• Contribute to a positive kitchen culture by supporting your team and helping where needed
