About The Position

As a Cook, you will be responsible for skillfully applying culinary techniques. You will also set the stage for guest experience with your welcoming smile and service. By understanding their unique stories and needs, you will own their experience to create WOW memories they will carry with them far and beyond their stay with us.

Requirements

• Skilled in knife handling and familiar with standard kitchen equipment and tools, including but not limited to toasters, refrigerators, coolers, slicers, beverage machines, and smallware's.
• Proficient in weights, measurements, and a variety of cooking techniques.
• Well-versed in health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills to communicate effectively.
• Has at least 2+ years of prior experience working in a cook/kitchen position (preferred)
• Has experience working in a similar resort environment (preferred)
• Has a high school diploma, GED or equivalent
• Is at least 21 years old
• Must be willing to work various shifts, including weekends

Responsibilities

• Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
• Replenish kitchen supplies and ingredients as needed for seamless service.
• Properly label and date all products to ensure freshness and sanitation.
• Demonstrate thorough menu knowledge and maintain precision in plate presentation.
• Support kitchen leadership and team members in executing service.
• Master the preparation and understanding of base sauces, stocks, and soups.
• Collaborate with the team to assist with guest needs and inquiries.
