About The Position

We are looking for an experienced Line Cook to join our team! You will be preparing and cooking a variety of dishes for restaurant guests to enjoy. You are passionate about creating exceptional dining experiences through good, quality food. With previous experience as a line cook, you can manage multiple priorities and contribute to a friendly and productive team atmosphere.

Requirements

  • Be 18 years of age
  • Previous experience as a line cook preferred
  • Ability to lift 30+ lbs
  • Ability to work standing for 8+ hours

Responsibilities

  • Ensure freshness of food and ingredients by checking for quality, keeping track of old and new items, and rotating stock
  • Ensure food is stored and cooked at the correct temperature by regulating the temperature of ovens, grills, etc
  • Season and cook food according to recipes
  • Portions food products prior to cooking according to standard portion sizes and recipe specifications
  • Maintains a clean and sanitary work station area
  • Follows proper plate presentation and garnish set up for all dishes
  • Assists in food prep assignments during off-peak periods as needed
  • Closes the kitchen properly and follows the closing checklist for kitchen stations
  • Performs other related duties as assigned by the Kitchen Manager or manager-on-duty
