Responsibilities

  • Prepare menu items according to established recipes, portion guidelines, and quality standards while minimizing waste.
  • Confidently use kitchen tools, including knives, spatulas, and standard cooking equipment.
  • Complete daily prep work to ensure the kitchen is fully stocked and ready for the next day’s service.
  • Communicate low‑inventory items to the supervisor and assist with receiving deliveries and inventory counts.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary kitchen environment that meets or exceeds state, local, and franchise requirements.
  • Immediately report any unsafe or malfunctioning equipment to the supervisor.
  • Support the team by assisting with dishwashing or other kitchen duties when needed.
  • Respond promptly and courteously to guest requests and follow up to ensure satisfaction.
  • Maintain a professional appearance and follow all company policies and procedures.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned by management.
