About The Position
Assists servers and bartenders in providing fast and courteous service of food and beverage to outlet guests by clearing tables and performing miscellaneous tasks.
Responsibilities
- Clears, cleans and sets tables according to established service standards.
- Delivers water to table promptly after guests are seated, may assist the server in refilling glasses when necessary. Except serving alcohol, unless busperson is TABC certified.
- Cleans and/or wipes down floor, tables, chairs, walls, windows, and service area of outlet.
- Separates dirty china, glassware and silver; and delivers to kitchen for cleaning.
- Performs side work assignments such as make coffee, fold napkins, etc. Stocks service station with napkins, placemats, ashtrays, etc.
- May perform room service duties when requested.
- Responds quickly to guest requests in a friendly manner. Follows up to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Provides a professional image at all times through appearance and dress.
- Follows company policies and procedures.
