About The Position

Kforce is working with a well-known client in search of a LIMS Software Engineer - (Remote) to join their team. Summary: In this role, the LIMS Software Engineer will work with a cloud-based enterprise Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS), assisting with configuration, reporting, and development tasks. They will collaborate with technical and scientific teams, troubleshoot issues, and ensure smooth day-to-day operations of critical enterprise applications. Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Bioinformatics, Computer Science, or related STEM field (or equivalent experience)
At least 2 years of experience supporting enterprise applications or databases
Familiarity with relational databases and ability to write SQL queries
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Nice To Haves

Experience with StarLIMS or other LIMS platforms
Knowledge of scripting languages, HTML, or JavaScript
Experience creating dashboards or reports in tools like Crystal Reports
Exposure to laboratory workflows or regulated environments

Responsibilities

Act as the first point of contact for system issues, troubleshooting and escalating as needed
Assist with configuration and testing within StarLIMS v12 environments
Support development of reports and dashboards using tools like Crystal - Reports and Advanced Analytics
Collaborate with analysts and senior engineers to translate user requests into technical solutions
Maintain accurate documentation and manage tasks in Jira and Confluence
