Requirements

Deep understanding of edge cases, failure modes, and bottlenecks
Strong investigation and debugging skills for tricky errors and performance issues
Experience in building scalable infrastructure for high-growth products
Ability to mentor others in best practices for observability and risk mitigation
5+ years of software engineering experience, with at least 4 years in the infrastructure domain

Responsibilities

Lead infrastructure resiliency efforts including recovery mechanisms, tenant isolation, and load spike handling
Improve observability and operability of systems
Build performance-critical, user-facing infrastructure like real-time event processing
Plan and execute scaling initiatives for customer growth
Collaborate with other engineering teams to ensure reliability of product features
Mentor fellow engineers and share expertise
