Summary TAMCO Group is seeking a Lighting Product Manager to lead the strategic direction, lifecycle management, and profitability of assigned commercial and residential lighting product categories. This role leverages TAMCO’s domestic manufacturing and sourcing capabilities to bring competitive, high-quality lighting solutions to market. Reporting to the Senior Product Manager, this position operates within a vertically integrated distribution model, where products are sold exclusively through TAMCO’s affiliated customer network. The Product Manager will play a critical role in shaping the lighting portfolio to meet evolving customer needs, drive category growth, and align commercial strategy with operational execution. This role includes oversight and development of a small team supporting product execution.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
  • 5–7 years of product management experience, ideally within lighting, electrical, or building products.
  • Strong understanding of LED technology, lighting controls, and commercial and residential applications.
  • Experience managing products within a distribution or customer-network-based go-to-market model.
  • Proven experience leading and developing small teams.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with ERP and PLM systems is a plus.

Nice To Haves

  • Lighting Certified (LC) credential through NCQLP, CAPM, or PMP certification preferred but not required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, or a related field preferred.
  • Proven experience in product management, procurement, or related roles.
  • Experience managing vendor relationships and leading negotiations.
  • Background in inventory management, fulfillment center operations, or supply chain management is preferred.
