About The Position

Duties & Responsibilities: Conduct specialized inspection and material testing across manufacturing processes and receiving using inspection devices such as microscopes, calipers, micrometers, and other quality tools as required. Conduct performance testing across manufacturing and engineering processes Updates ERP System with quality information Initiate and aide in the investigation of non-conformance issues Verify non-conformance and perform all necessary measurements Assist with training new operators on correct product terminology, measuring tools, and techniques Mentor operators in exceptional quality and the importance of producing quality parts Complete validations as needed Participate in continuous improvement projects and ideas to enhance processes Complete rework as assigned Back up Quality Analysis - Operations role Read and understand product specifications Perform additional responsibilities as requested to achieve business objectives Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent Proficient knowledge of measuring equipment such as microscopes, micrometers, calipers, and comparators preferred Able to perform and prioritize many tasks with a sense of urgency Proficient computer, math, and reading skills Must be able to sit, stand and/or walk for extended periods of time for up to 8-10 hours per day Must be able to work with small parts for extended periods of time Must be able to occasionally lift up to 40 pounds
