About The Position

Duties & Responsibilities: Conduct inspection, audits, and material testing across manufacturing processes Perform testing in an engineering lab Initiate the investigation of non-conformance issues Input transactions in the ERP system Verify non-conformance and complete all necessary measurements and specifications using inspection devices such as microscopes, calipers, micrometers, and other quality tools as required. Assist with training new operators on correct product terminology and measuring tools and techniques Assist and mentor operators in quality standards Participate in continuous improvement projects and ideas to enhance processes Complete rework as needed Perform additional responsibilities as requested to achieve business objectives Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent Proficient knowledge of measuring equipment such as microscopes, micrometers, calipers, and comparators preferred Able to perform and prioritize many tasks with a sense of urgency Proficient computer, math, and reading skills Must be able to sit, stand and/or walk for extended periods of time for up to 8-10 hours per day Must be able to work with small parts for extended periods of time Must be able to occasionally lift up to 40 pounds Competitive Pay & Benefits: Paid vacation and 11 paid holidays Medical, dental, life, and disability insurance HSA and FSA accounts 401k with company matching and profit sharing Tuition reimbursement
