Light Assembly - 2nd shift

Position Summary: Snap-on in Crystal Lake is seeking an associate for 2nd shift Set Assembly. This individual will fill in during department vacations/scheduled time off. Work will include operating foam cutting machines and running the auto-bagger process. When this individual is not filling in for the foam team, they will be picking product for trucks. 2nd shift hours are 2:00pm-10:30pm. You must be able to work mandatory overtime.
Requirements
- High school diploma/equivalent or 4 or more years on the job experience in related field.
- Computer knowledge
- Working knowledge of the product center operations
- Working knowlege of LN, ODS, and WMS computer systems
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
- Ability to lift 35 pounds
- Enjoy working as part of a team

Responsibilities
- Operate foam cutting machines and auto-bagger.
- Pick products for trucks.
- Load, unload, and stores freight using electric and LP forklift trucks or hand pallet jacks.
- Receives inventory by visually comparing stock and quantity against a receiving document.
- Counts and verifies stock in picking and reserve locations.
- Processes customer orders by picking stock.
- Packing stock into shipping cartons.
- Operates Hand Bander, Stretch Wrap Machine, computerized UPS machines, computer terminals, etc.

- Starting hourly wage: $19.78; at 3 months: $21.38; at 6 months: $23.03; plus $0.60 per hour shift premium
