About The Position

Safely operate a sit-down powered industrial truck (PIT). Verify and maintain records on incoming and outgoing shipments, and prepare items for shipment Load and unload trailers Complete pre-start PIT maintenance inspection report Follow proper trailer loading and unloading lock-out/tag-out procedure Complete receiving report to accurately record materials received Submit receiving reports after trailer is unloaded Complete load sheet to accurately record the grades, bale count, loading start/stop times for finished goods on outbound shipments Complete and submit load sheet at completion of shipment Understand and follow load pattern according to trailer and/or railcar Follow all safety rules and practices at all times Perform other duties as assigned by supervision

Requirements

  • Minimum of 1-2 years Forklift (PIT) experience
  • Previous industrial manufacturing or corrugated industry is preferred but not required
  • Be able to multitask in a very fast-paced environment
  • Be computer literate and able to read, write, and speak English
  • Effectively use radio and scanning equipment while arranging the transportation of products
  • The ability to learn, follow instructions, communicate, and work efficiently in a team orientated environment
  • Must be able to work available shifts, weekends, overtime, and holidays is necessary.
