Compensation: Weekly pay, Wage starting at $21.06/HR, plus $1/HR night shift differential (7p - 3a) Shifts - Monday through Friday: DAY, 7:00am - 3:00pm NIGHT, 7:00pm - 3:00am PLEASE be sure to list your current/two most recent positions on the application, particularly if you are unable to upload an up-to-date resume. KEY JOB REQUIREMENTS: Unload and receive packing and regrind trailers. Stage shipments for transfers Move regrind/virgin material to/from lines. Create and put away Hus. Keep production supplied with correct packaging. Dump trash using tippers. Operate stretch wrapper. Drain railcars. Other duties as necessary.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent experience
  • Basic math and computer skills
  • Forklift certification/license
  • Good oral and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Pretest ability to lift 75 lbs
  • Ability to communicate effectively both internally and externally and work closely and productively as part of a cross. functional team
  • Ability to create and/or exhibit an atmosphere of openness, honesty, trust, and teamwork.
  • Demonstrates ability to understand and actively participate in all company safety programs, policies, and procedures.
  • Demonstrates ability to safety load and unload materials to/from designated storage areas, racks and shelves, or vehicles
  • Ability to develop and maintain processes that are ISO compliant.
  • Can demonstrate ability to maintain work area in clean, safe order.
  • Ability to operate motorized equipment and other peripheral equipment safely and efficiently as required
  • Ability to feed and operate grinder without jamming or damaging grinder system
  • Can demonstrate ability to accurately count, weigh, and record number of units of materials moved or handled, using daily production sheet or work ticket
  • Can demonstrate proper techniques used to arrange materials/items in specified sequence for assembly and/or distribution
  • Demonstrates ability to accurately post data from one source to another in ERP or peripheral software systems
  • Demonstrates ability to be a self starter and work independently to complete assignments/responsibilities
  • Demonstrates ability to organize and prioritize workload as required
  • Must be able to: Climb approved ladders and moveable steps
  • Heed safety warnings, devices and alarms
  • Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
  • Lift and carry products weighing up to 50 lbs. Occasional lifts up to 75 lbs. All lifts over 75 lbs require 2-person lift or mechanical assistance
  • Possess adequate ability to do problem solving and establish cause and effect relationships in an office and/or manufacturing environment
