About The Position

Lifetime Sports Academy Coordinator HOURS: M-F 8:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. Do you love working with kids, leading sports activities, and creating fun learning experiences? Are you energetic, organized, and ready to make a positive impact every day? What You'll Do Lead individual, small, and large group youth sports and recreational activities Assist instructors with formal lessons in tennis, golf, and other programs Register participants, maintain program records, and monitor inventory of supplies and equipment Open and close facilities and ensure safety procedures are followed Provide guidance and role modeling for children and handle discipline when necessary What You Bring Associate's degree (A.A.) or equivalent, or 6–12 months related experience; or a combination of education and experience Ability to communicate effectively with children, parents, staff, and the public Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to operate equipment safely and follow written/oral instructions Valid Indiana Driver's License if City vehicle is used Why Work for the City of Fort Wayne Join a team dedicated to creating fun, safe, and enriching sports programs for youth. Requirements

• Associate's degree (A.A.) or equivalent, or 6–12 months related experience; or a combination of education and experience
• Ability to communicate effectively with children, parents, staff, and the public
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to operate equipment safely and follow written/oral instructions
• Valid Indiana Driver's License if City vehicle is used
