About The Position
HealthWorks Rehab is currently hiring a lifeguard at our fitness aquatic center. The lifeguard will be monitoring activities in the aquatic area to prevent accidents and to assist clients.
Requirements
- Employee must be at least 18 years of age
- Current, valid certification in Lifeguarding and Water Safety
- AED (automated external defibrillator) training
- Current CPR certification
Responsibilities
- Cautions pool users regarding safety issues
- Rescues pool users in danger of drowning and administers first aid
- Maintains order in the aquatic area
- Inspects facilities for cleanliness
- Maintains neatness and cleanliness of swimming pools and deck area as needed
- Assist in the fitness and/or clinical area as requested, when not needed in the pool area
