Organization: LifeFlight Communications Job Summary: The LifeFlight Communications CQI Coordinator is responsible for designing and implementing continuous quality improvement (CQI) metrics, tracking trends, building reports, and providing accurate performance data to the several Communications Center Managers. The Communications CQI Coordinator will assist communications leadership in evaluating key performance indicators and routinely present their findings. In addition, the CQI Coordinator reviews audio and visual records, for investigative purposes, when concerns about comm center performance, service, and quality are made known. . KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Monitor quality assurance standards and ensure compliance with regulatory and institutional requirements. Using established standards and best practices to review individual and system-wide performance Assist Communications leadership in developing and tracking Key Performance Indicators Lead systematic, data-driven initiatives to improve operational efficiency, patient transportation, safety, communication, and service quality within LifeFlight Communications. Analyze Debrief and Veritas reports by reviewing all run data, audio recordings of phone and radio communications, and other relevant sources to ensure thorough case evaluations. Perform Root-Cause Analysis to investigate incidents to identify root causes, develop targeted process improvement strategies, and implement solutions to prevent recurrence. Monitor and assess team members through the CQI process, providing constructive feedback to elevate patient care and operational standards. Stay current with industry trends and best practices by engaging in training, enhancing leadership skills, and contributing to departmental growth. Take on additional leadership responsibilities as assigned, including strategic initiatives, process enhancements, and cross-functional collaboration to advance organizational goals.
