About The Position

This role is part of union SEIU - E There are (2) positions available GENERAL OVERVIEW Coordinates communications from LifeFlight, Air Medical Programs, EMS providers and referral agencies to appropriate areas within AHN.

Requirements

• GED/High School diploma
• 2 years related experience

Nice To Haves

• EMT with dispatching experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Coordinates flight requests and critical care ground transports; provides flight following for aviation vendor.
• Enters data for all activities performed within the communication center.
• Registers for LifeFlight transports and places charges in EPIC for flights and ground transports. Completes all appropriate documentation for patient care record in EMS charts. Provides primary support for One-Call.
• Coordinates and dispatches specialty teams within WPAHS facilities.
• Monitors all incoming traffic to heliport and safety watch.
• Receives EMS medical command notification and requests by telephone and radio.
• Provides offload support to flight team.
• Performs other duties as assigned or required.
