Our Life Sciences & Technology Transactions Group represents a spectrum of technology stakeholders, including startups, emerging enterprises, and established industry leaders, on a global scale. Whether clients are buying, selling, licensing, or developing state-of-the-art life science technologies, including integration with AI/Machine learning technologies, and space applications in low earth orbit or deep space, we provide tailored legal strategies to support their goals and navigate challenges at every stage of their evolution. The expected pay range for this position is: $260,000 - $355,000 per year Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience, location, and other job-related factors permitted by law. Requirements

  • J.D. from an ABA accredited law school and active membership in good standing.
  • B.S./M.S./Pharm.D or equivalent in a life science field (e.g., molecular biology, neuroscience, chemistry) or engineering (e.g., bioengineering, chemical engineering, biomedical engineering).
  • 3–5 years of relevant experience at a law firm or in-house legal department.
  • Deep knowledge of intellectual property and commercial contract law, particularly as it relates to life sciences, neurotechnology, space, and AI.
  • Familiarity with FDA regulations, the Bayh-Dole Act, and GDPR.
  • Strong drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple client demands in a fast-paced environment.
  • Entrepreneurial and curious mindset and team-oriented approach.

Nice To Haves

  • Ph.D./M.D. in a life science or closely related field.
  • M.B.A. from a major program a plus.
  • Additional degrees, certifications, or training in computer science and AI/Machine Learning.
  • Industry experience at a pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or medical device company.
  • Experience with international licensing and cross-border transactions.
  • Exposure to IP workflows in M&A or financing transactions and post-closing integration.
